Malta Taken Off From FATF Grey List
Malta was taken off from the greylist on Wednesday during the plenary meeting of the global watchdog Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
The decision comes one year after Malta was labelled an untrustworthy financial jurisdiction by the FATF.
Malta had been told to implement a long list of changes to the way it combats tax evasion, collects information on ultimate beneficial ownership, and the way it shares information with local and international authorities.
