CURAÇAO GAMING AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES FINAL EXTENSION — NEW DEADLINE SET FOR 15 NOVEMBER 2025

The Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) has announced a final and extraordinary extension for the submission of outstanding documentation by provisional license holders. The new and final deadline for all submissions has been set for 15 November 2025.

The extension follows requests from several operators seeking additional time to complete their licensing documentation. In confirming the decision, the CGA emphasized that no further extensions will be granted, and that any documentation submitted after the new deadline will not be accepted.

The CGA has also reiterated that provisional licenses will expire on 24 December 2025.

Operators that have not obtained a definitive LOK license by that date must cease all gaming activities conducted in or from Curaçao, and only holders of a definitive license will be permitted to continue operations and display the Green Seal.

In addition, the Authority confirmed that certain compliance and local substance requirements — including those concerning local servers and key personnel — will now apply in 2026, providing additional time for full implementation. For further information, please contact our compliance team.
