Amaya, headquartered in Canada, with offices also in Malta, announced this week that it has completed its planned re-branding from Amaya to The Stars Group. In addition, its headquarters in Montreal will be relocated to Toronto.
The company also revealed its updated corporate logo and launched a new site to mark this launch. This includes trading under a new acronym on the Global Select Market as TSG and under the Toronto Stock Exchange as TSGI starting this week.
Its flagship brand PokerStars, the world’s largest online poker site, is the Canadian firm’s main portfolio asset and this rebranding reflects the success of such brand as well as the future growth of its sister brand BetStars.
The Stars Group is the ultimate owner of industry leading gaming brands including PokerStars, PokerStars Casino, BetStars, Full Tilt, PokerStars Championship, PokerStars Festival and MEGASTACK. Collectively, these brands have more than 111 million registered customers, forming one of the largest online gaming businesses in the world.
PokerStars will be, for the first time, one of the main exhibitors this year at SiGMA17 taking place in MFCC, Malta, between the 23rd and 24th November.
