Supplier Yggdrasil has launched its Publishing division designed to offer customers the chance to build their own B2B gaming solutions from Yggdrasil’s technology.
Yggdrasil will franchise its current and future content portfolio to allow partners to create their own offering, where they will be able to license any element of Yggdrasil’s gaming features.
The three core elements to the publishing division will be: YG Franchise – platform IP licensing, YG Masters -game development and distribution, and YG Game IP – game IP licensing.
Head of Publishing, Björn Krantz, who joined Yggdrasil in January and worked for fellow supplier NetEnt for 10 years, said: “This is a ground-breaking global licensing business that significantly changes ours and the industry’s approach to content creation, publishing and distribution.”
